305 E. Boscawen Street. Stonewall Cemetery Pavilion, Winchester, VA. Some persons identified, occasion presumably Confederate Memorial Day. From nitrate negative. Date estimated as c. 1930s. According to Ben Ritter, date was June 6, 1937 and speaker was (Mayor) William Wood Glass. Man just to left of righthand pillar is Daniel Miller (Civil War veteran, one of two then surviving - the other was not present). According to another informant, woman in polkadot dress is Carrie Clayton. |
